What is Zoroastrianism?

Zoroastrianism is the oldest monotheistic religion in the world and was founded by Zoroaster the Prophet in ancient Persia. The religion emphasizes the struggle between good and evil, and teaches that individuals have the power to choose which path to follow, emphasizing personal responsibility and the importance of living in harmony with nature. Zoroastrianism is based on the belief in one supreme god, Ahura Mazda, and the concept of free will to attain individual spiritual enlightenment. It was an influential faith in the development of future world religions and currently has a small following in modern times (particularly most Zoroastrians live in in India and Iran).
